BECOMING A REVIEWER
Getting involved in the peer review process can be a highly rewarding experience that can also enhance your own research and enrich your academic career with state-of-the-art knowledge in your field of expertise. We would like to encourage researchers to get involved in the peer review process and become part of the team of Acta Horticulturae et Regiotecturae. You can also include your finished reviews for Acta Horticulturae et Regiotecturae in your academic profile, e.g. on Publons by Clarivate Analytics and show your engagement to a wider academic community.
If you are interested to become a reviewer, please register here (http://serials.uniag.sk/index.php/ahr/login). After having registered, please select EDIT YOUR PROFILE and choose at you PROFILE ROLES - the Reviewer option and state your reviewing interests.
If you are already registered as an author, just add the review option to your profile. Please, do not forget to state your review interests.
As a reviewer of a selected submission, you will be notified by an email from the OJS system. You will be asked to log in to the journal website by a response due date to indicate whether you can undertake the review or not. After accepting the review request, you will have access to the submission and conduct your review.
As a reviewer you are part of the authoring process and your comments help to ensure the quality of the manuscript and the quality of the journal in general. When reviewing the article, please keep the following in mind:
- Content Quality and Originality
- Organisation and Clarity
- Scope
- Final comments and suggestions
To help you organize your review, we have created the review form to be filled out. The review form is accessible only through OJS (http://serials.uniag.sk/index.php/ahr/login) after the log in. Do not hesitate to upload your comments directly made into the manuscript or any additional documents
After you have finished, please click on the „Submit“ button and your review result will be submitted to the journal.
